SELF-REPAIR COATED LENS
The lenses of the Xiaomi TS Polarized Sunglasses pilot sunglasses are covered with 6 layers of coating, which can remove small scratches. The main feature of Turok Steinhardt sunglasses is that the material used in the coating can restore its own structure and surface. The coating can repair scratches up to 20 microns deep on sun protection lenses.
The repair speed at 23-25 C° is approx. 2 seconds, at 0 C° approx. 30 seconds. If the depth of the connection exceeds the thickness of the self-healing layer (≤ 20 microns), the self-healing function will fail.

6-LAYER POLARIZED LENSES
In addition to a clear visual experience, self-correcting, polarized lenses effectively reduce glare, thereby eliminating the harmful and disturbing effects of reflected and scattered light on the eyes. Self-healing composite polarized lenses have a 6-layer coating, of which the self-healing layer can be found on both the outside and the inside of the lenses, and thus have the ability to repair smaller staples no deeper than 20 microns.
The ultraviolet absorbing layer can absorb 99% of UV radiation. The central polarizing layer is the core of the lens, which absorbs 99% of polarized light and glare.
Z–SHAPED STEM CONNECTION
The stem, which can be adjusted to different face widths, has a "Z" fold at its connection to the frame, so that the glasses can be adaptively adjusted to the face of the wearer, and the adjustment makes wearing them even more comfortable.
PERFECT POINT OF GRAVITY
The center of gravity of the frame is shifted back for more comfort. In addition to the total weight of the glasses, very careful design is a very important parameter of sunglasses. The closer the center of gravity is to the back of the glasses, the easier it is to wear them, the less discomfort they cause in everyday use. Therefore, the distribution of the weight of the stems, nose supports and lenses is 8 mm behind the center of gravity of the glasses, so it practically does not exert pressure on the bridge of the nose and the ears.
0.25 NEWTON CLAMPING FORCE
Xiaomi TS polarized aviator sunglasses are very comfortable to wear, easy to wear, no pressure on the head. The total clamping force of the glasses is 0.25 newtons, which is several times that of an average pair of sunglasses. Due to the effective pressure reduction, wearing the glasses does not cause discomfort or pain in the long term.
STAINLESS STEEL FRAME
High-strength 304N stainless steel is used to manufacture the TS pilot sunglasses frame. Thanks to this material, the glasses have a solid but at the same time light frame weighing 6.7 g.
SUBTLE CURVED LENS
Compared to a flat lens, curved ones reduce the optical effect on the eye, e.g. dizziness. The fine tilt angle makes the focal point much more concentrated, thus avoiding eye strain, blurred vision and discomfort during wear.
COMFORTABLE TPR NOSE PADS
The Xiaomi TS Polarized Sunglasses have TPR nose pads with a pleasant touch and a rubber nose support. TPR rubber has better resilience and wear resistance than conventional rubber and softer shock absorption. Due to the direct contact with human skin, it is particularly important to choose the right material for the nose pads and nose bridge. Mi TS sunglasses replace the common PVC material with silicone. Silicone does not irritate the skin, it is very soft and comfortable.
